Therapy Talk has joined the chat

The MomTok leader was very open about going to therapy to help her heal and grow. When asked what was the number one thing she learned while in therapy, she said, "You'd think it would be as simple as it sounds."
She continued, "You're not going to get different results with the same actions. Change is extremely difficult, especially when you're trying to rewire your brain."
When another fan asked about the "best advice" she got from her therapist, Paul shared three things.
"Give those versions of you grace. I can't give you what you don't already have," she explained. "The best part about healing is (to) help others heal."
Another person asked Paul how she was "really doing," and Paul said she was "so sad" and "in a lot of pain."
"This time is different because I have awareness, tools and people to help. I feel like I'm grieving everything at once," she said. "This year is going to be amazing, but we're going to do this too."

Taylor Frankie Paul opened up during her Q&A on Instagram

Paul didn't seem to shy away from the questions her fans asked her.
"What keeps you so honest? After the betrayals you've received, you're still so kind," one person wondered.
"Everything comes to the surface," Paul replied. "I betrayed people, I was at the bottom, I was the villain, the most hated on the internet, I want (to) give the same grace and forgiveness that I received."
Another follower wanted to delve deeper into her relationship woes by asking if the divorce or breaking up with Mortensen was more difficult for her.
"The grief of both of us. Since then I've run away or fought, had two miscarriages, gone to jail while the whole internet was talking about it. Eventually it became too painful to separate," she explained. "I woke up and now it's all seeping in. And I'm like FUUU---K ME. But let's stay strong, let's look at it, let's feel it and let's process it so we can move forward."
Paul also answered a question about how he deals with the hate and bullying she has received online.
"Ignore it," she said. "I don't care what they think, nor do I care."
Season 1 of "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" is currently streaming on Hulu and will debut on ABC on January 27 as part of ABC's winter lineup. Season 2 is currently filming, and according to Paul, it will be released on Hulu in May 2025.
