Shannon Beador Denies Relationship With Alexis Bellino's 'RHOC' Exit

Shannon Beador sets the record straight and claims her hands are squeaky clean on the exit of her rival Bravo.

Shannon Beador's disclaimer comes months after she admitted she experienced major difficulties filming the show's 18th season and cast doubt on the network's foreseeable future.

The 60-year-old was quick to hit back at the growing narrative about her alleged involvement in Bellion's ouster from the highly-acclaimed reality TV show. Beador explained:

"I have no electricity with the network or production or anyone, and I would never want to interfere in anyone's life. But Alexis Bellino is a TV star, and she's been a TV star for 15 years, so I'm sure she'll get a new gig soon."

Bellino previously hinted to the public that she would probably not appear in the new season last December. She previously appeared on the show through seasons 5 through 8, returning for season 18 in 2024.

The 48-year-old explained that she was "not asked to come back next season" while appearing on the Going Rogue podcast. She explained that the decision was not a shock, but that it was a difficult conversation.

"I guess I wasn't really ready because I didn't think the contracts were going to come out like I thought we had more time...so it was a shock when the call came, but I was never shocked by the information," Bellino said during her interview. with US Weekly at the Let's Help LA fundraiser she co-hosted.

Despite her now-confirmed absence from the new season, Bella's appearance last season provided raw drama and fun, and had a lot to do with Beador and a certain third party.

The Bravo star is caught up in a legal battle between Beador and her ex John Janssen, who is currently engaged to Bellino. Beador and Janssen clashed in court following their split, as he claimed the reality star refused to pay off a $75,000 loan he gave her for cosmetic surgery.

The Bravo star reportedly offered to settle half the sum to her ex, but things took a turn for the worse after she learned he had kept visual evidence of her September 2023 arrest. The estranged couple eventually settled out of court in November for a reported $60,000.

Beador said her days of drama are now behind her as she spent a lot of time "over the holidays thinking" about where she was last year.

"I was at the point where I had just seen John make Alexis the promise on social media, and I didn't know who was going to be back on the show. I didn't know if I had any friends on the show," the 60-year-old stressed as she clarified her complicated relationship with Bella.

The reality star admitted that it was difficult for her because the whole process seemed like an obstacle she couldn't overcome, but she found a way to get through it and is in a really great place.

"I'm so grateful to those close to me who have supported me and the fans who have supported me," Beador said, adding that she's still working to be a better person.

Beador also puts his time to good use and spends it supporting the victims of the devastating fire. The star, along with her co-star, Katie Ginella, hosted a fundraiser at the Bungalow in honor of Los Angeles 911, to raise funds for those who lost property due to the incident.

She shared that if she lived in Los Angeles, she would not have escaped the fire, as Pacific Palisades would have been her preferred location. Unfortunately, three of her close friends couldn't say that, because they lost their homes in the fire.

On how she and Ginella decided to hold the fundraiser, the reality star said: "When I was on the flight to New York, Katie texted me and said, 'Would you be interested in doing a fundraiser for everything that's going on in to LA? ' and I said, 'Absolutely'."

Beador expressed her sadness at the number of people who lost their homes in "Pasadena and Altadena," noting that "people need money, and that's what we wanted to try to do tonight."

Beador recalled being a "hot mess" during the show's 2023 reunion, while trying to defend her ex's shortcomings. The process, which left her exhausted, inspired Beador to prove to the show's viewers that she is working to become a better person.

"What matters is what I think. I hope she enjoys the show ... I hope people say, 'Okay, she's working on herself, so good for her,' but I don't need a pat on the back. No I need compassion," Beador concluded.
