“Hey. I just want to say; This is how I looked and felt two years ago, and every step forward I've taken since then is a miracle,” Halsey wrote in the caption. “I figured it out in my spare time, thanks to everyone who was along for the ride. Also, I'm cute as fuck now, so that's great.”

Hours after the song was released, Halsey revealed on Instagram that she had been diagnosed with lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder two years ago. Both conditions are now being treated or are in remission, though Halsey admitted they are lifelong challenges.
"After a rough start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors," she said. "After two years, I feel better and more grateful than ever to have music to turn to."
