According to the report, Australian brand Posse saw significant sales jumps after royals wore their products.

Meghan Markle is known to intentionally support new designers and holds investments in brands like Cesta Collective and Clevr Blends.

The founder of Australian fashion brand Posse has praised Meghan Markle for a significant increase in their sales, highlighting the Duchess's powerful influence on consumer trends.

In an interview with City & CountryPosse owner Daniella Mulham expressed her gratitude for Meghan's consistent support, highlighting the extraordinary impact her support has had.

"We are so grateful for the continued support she continues to show our brand and we love seeing her wearing Posse," Mulham said, according to Daily Mail.

This surge in popularity isn't unique to the Posse, as Meghan's fashion choices have seen a huge boost in sales for a number of brands.

A remarkable moment occurred in 2017 when Scottish brand Strathberry saw one of its handbags sell out in just 11 minutes after Meghan wore it during an appearance with Prince Harry.

In addition, Strathberry reportedly expanded its workforce due to an increase in sales after Meghan wore their products, showing the financial strength behind its endorsements.

The Duchess has racked up $1.2 million in sales for lab-grown diamond brand Kimaï

London-based diamond brand Kimaï is another company that has benefited greatly from the "Meghan effect".

In 2019, Meghan was seen wearing the brand's $767 Felicity earrings, which she bought herself.

According to Daily Mailco-founders Jessica Warch and Sidney Neuhaus found that the duchess' appearance led to a spike in sales, generating $1.2 million.

Warch said Kimaï was launched without outside funding, but just two months later, Meghan's support significantly increased their revenue, allowing them to raise $1.2 million.

The brand, known for its use of lab-grown diamonds and recycled gold, ended up securing a record £250,000 investment from Dragon's Den star Steven Bartlett in exchange for a 3% equity stake, its biggest deal to date.

As of January, Kimaï is forecast to make a profit of $608,000 (£500,000) in 2024 after four years of loss-making operations.

Meanwhile, Meghan is fully aware of her significant influence on fashion brands and is deliberately using it to elevate up-and-coming designers.

In an interview with The New York Timesshe shared that when she knows her clothes are going to be in the "global spotlight," she chooses to "support designers that (she) has really great friendships with and smaller, up-and-coming brands that haven't gotten the attention they should be getting."

"It's one of the most powerful things I can do, and that's just wearing, like, an earring," Meghan explained.

In addition to representing brands through her fashion choices, Meghan has also invested in several companies, holding stakes in around five to ten brands.

However, the only publicly confirmed investments are in Cesta Collective and Clevr Blends, a vegan latte powder brand available in the UK for £23 per 14-serve bag.

Although the duchess did not reveal the exact amount of money invested, the founders of Cesta confirmed that her contribution was a minority stake.

Meghan reportedly started building her investment portfolio during the pandemic. In December 2020, the Duchess announced her investment in Clevr Blends, a wellness coffee brand known for its organic, gluten-free powdered "SuperLattes".

In a statement to Fortune in 2019, Meghan expressed support for the company's founder, Hannah Mendoza.

"This investment supports a passionate entrepreneur who prioritizes building community alongside her business," she said. "I'm proud to invest in Hanna's commitment to sourcing ethical ingredients and creating products that I personally love and that take a holistic approach to wellness. I believe in her and I believe in her company."

The couple made donations through their Archewell Foundation, volunteered at shelters and opened their home in Montecito to friends displaced by the fires.

In another show of support, Meghan has decided to delay the release of her Netflix cooking show 'With Love, Meghan'.

In a statement for People MagazineIn 2018, the Duchess expressed her gratitude to Netflix for supporting her decision to prioritize those affected by the fires in her country.

"I am grateful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch while we focus on the needs of those affected by the wildfires in California," she said.

Meghan's new cooking show, originally scheduled for January 15th, has been moved to March 4th.
