Jamie Foxx attended the premiere of his new movie "Back to Action" with his 16-year-old daughter, Annelise Bishop, on January 15 in Berlin, Germany.
Foxx - whose real name is Eric Bishop - credited Annelise with helping save his life when he was in a coma following a stroke in 2023.
"Back to Action" with Jamie Foxx was released on Netflix on January 17.

Foxx attended the Berlin premiere of his new film, "Back to action" on Jan 15. The 57-year-old actor brought along his 16-year-old daughter, Annelise, according to PEOPLE.
The duo walked the red carpet at the Zoo Palast theater, where Anelis wore a checkered gray and black suit, while her father wore a black suit with a black and white lapel.
"Back to Action" also stars Cameron Diazand the two actors in the film play ex-spies who are brought out of retirement when their cover is exposed.

Annelise played her guitar for Foxx at the hospital
In his Netflix special, "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was...," Foxx credited Annelise with helping to save his life by playing her guitar at his bedside. The then 14-year-old is credited with regulating his vital signs as Foxx was unconscious following a stroke.
"My vitals are so bad they're going to kill me," Foxx said in his Netflix special. "Then a miracle happened, and that miracle worked through my youngest daughter."
"She's 14 - I didn't want her to see me like that," he continued. "But she snuck into my hospital room with my guitar. 'I know what my daddy needs'."
"When she played, my vitals ... went down ... God was in that guitar," he added. "Spiritual defibrillator."

Foxx brought both daughters to the Golden Globes
Foxx also brought Annelise to the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, as well as his 30-year-old daughter Corinne Foxx. The trio attended an event in Los Angeles on January 5.
The "Ray" actor also credited Corinne in his Netflix special for keeping details of his condition under wraps while delivering updates to the public. On April 11, 2023, Foxx suffered a brain hemorrhage that led to a stroke. He was in a coma for 20 days and had to learn to walk again. The comedian shared the details of his illness in his special "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was..."
"They kept me fucking down," he said in his special. "Nobody sees him. They cut everything off. They didn't want you to see me like that and I didn't want you to see me like that. I wanted you to see me like this."

Foxx shared a photo of his daughters at the Golden Globes with him Instagram is Jan. 6.
“Me with my two beautiful daughters on their way to the planet at the @goldenglobes… proud father and daughter moment Annelise Estelle and @corinnefoxx so beautiful and fearless,” he wrote. "When they asked me on the carpet, what do you think about awards? I said I've already won to be here with my two little girls. I stand tall. I stand with so much love. It's not my award. It's my award. God is good and I mean to know the rest 🙏🏾🙏🏾🏾."

'Back in Action' is available on Netflix
"Back to Action" is now available on Netflix and stars Foxx and Diaz as a husband and wife who were once spies. After the duo start a family, they are "drawn back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown."
The trailer features Diaz's character, Emily, and Foxx's character, Matt, as they battle the culprits at a gas station. Emily later tells her husband, "Okay, you know I love our life," prompting Matt to reply, "But?"
"Something clicked tonight," Emily said. "For the first time in a really long time, I felt alive again. I felt like that bitch again."
Foxx is credited with bringing Diaz out of retirement

Foxx is credited with bringing Diaz out of retirement for "Back to Action." The two previously starred together in 1999's "Any Given Sunday" and 2014's "Annie."
As previously reportedThe BlastDiaz said in a recent interview that Foxx was "the only person" who could get her to return to acting. Diaz has two children with her husband, musician Benji Madden.
"I thought if I was going to go back and make a movie, the only person I was going to go back and do it with was going to be this guy," she said. "Seriously. I had other opportunities along the way and I kept saying, 'No. I'm not doing it, I told you... What? He asked Jamie? Jamie? Oh, I can do a movie with Jamie!' "
