ADA Dominic "Sonny" Carisi has a close onscreen relationship with Olivia Benson, but do Law Enforcement: Special Victims Unit the actor Peter Scanvino And Mariska Hargitay.

“I have a family and I think Carisi and I are similar in that way. I think we really prize family above all else,” he shared our. "Working with Kelly, who I personally have so much respect for, and I just think Rollins as a character — who's obviously been through a lot — is a great fit to do something with somebody else."
Scanvino also said he's "not entirely sure" how Carisi will overcome her trauma SVU Season 26 continues.
“At the end of this episode, what you see is him starting down the road. The clouds part for a moment and you can see the way ahead,” he said. “We'll see what happens if he faces it again. If he has to take it in a trial or any form.
