'Diddy Done' Trends After Wendy Williams Says Rapper Will Go To 'Jail'

Wendy Williams she recently shared her honest thoughts on Sean "Diddy" Combs' future ahead of a trial in May for sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation for prostitution.

The former talk show host predicted the struggling hip hop mogul would "go to prison for life" while clarifying that she is not mentally impaired.

Williams recently offered her thoughts on the fate of embattled rapper Diddy amid his mounting legal troubles.

The founder of Bad Boy Records is behind bars at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail on several occasions.

Diddy faces charges bordering on sex crimes and racketeering, and his trial is set to begin in May.

However, Williams recently spoke to "The Breakfast Club" and weighed in on her chances of walking free, among other issues, including her health.

As the conversation progressed, Charlamagne tha God brought up the time Williams was allegedly fired from her job at New York's Hot 97 to prove she wasn't damaged.

"As for Diddy, Diddy is going to prison for life, people," she said, per Billboard. "You don't know what I'm doing about Diddy at the time. And you wanna know what? It's about time, folks. It's about time. Diddy's done."

'Diddy Done' Goes Viral on X

Williams' little quip about Diddy being done has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter), with many agreeing that it would be hard for the rapper to come out of his legal battles unscathed.

Several on the social media platform also took the opportunity to call for her "freedom" amid her conservatorship.

One person wrote"Wendy Williams STILL got it! She didn't say DiddyDone, and it's about time! She still knows stuff. #FreeWendy"

Another said: "Wendy sounds AMAZING and I'm so glad she was asked about Diddy. She said, 'Diddydone'."

A third person commented: "Wendy says 'Diddydone'. She still has her chair, camera and baby map NOW."

"Wendy Williams comments about Diddy being in jail and she still got it, 'DIDDY DONE' I miss her so much," another person remarked.

Williams and Diddy don't see eye to eye, especially since he was allegedly instrumental in getting her fired from her job at Hot 97.

According to BillboardCharlamagne addressed their alleged feud during an appearance on the "Flagrant" podcast, where he explained that the whole thing stemmed from Williams' claim that "Diddy was gay."

"Wendy's whole thing was that Diddy was gay," Charlamagne said. "That's why Wendy got fired from Hot 97. Wendy got fired from Hot 97 by Diddy because that's when Bad Boy was smoking hot. She got fired for posting it."

Diddy's former bodyguard, Gene Deal, said the same thing in 2022 when he appeared in an interview on "The Art of Dialogue."

Wendy Williams claims she is not 'cognitively impaired'

During a chat with Charlamagne, the former "Wendy Williams Show" host opened up about her health and fitness.

Williams noted that she is not impaired or disabled and is capable of making her own decisions.

"I'm not cognitively impaired, but I feel like I'm in prison," she said at the beginning of the interview. "I'm in New York. ... I'm in this place where people are in their 90s, 80s and 70s."

It comes after a 2023 press release suggested she had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and primary progressive aphasia.

She also told the host that her current guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, is abusing custody and controlling her money. She claims she does not have access to a laptop or iPad and can only make one-way calls to family and friends, who cannot call her.

Williams Sparks implies that she is under control

On Friday, January 17, Williams appeared on Don Lemon's podcast, "The Don Lemon Show," where she sparked speculation that she was being controlled by unidentified individuals.

In an interview with the former CNN anchor, she was asked if she was "incapacitated," and she denied it, but declined to share more details about her health for fear of perceived repercussions.

Lemon asked her about her health status following her guardian's November 2024 announcement that she was "cognitively impaired, permanently disabled and legally incompetent."

"Fuck no," replied Williams, per Sportskeeda. "I don't know how long I can talk without being punished."

"My life is ridiculous. I've been with this guardian for three years. Three years of my life... I'm isolated. I feel like I'm in a prison. I can't get out. All I can do is look out the window," Williams continued.

"I'm not in a good position. My life is messed up. You know, this guard mess is - please look, I'm isolated. I feel like I'm in prison. I feel like, you know, they're trying to control me and everything I do." she added.
