on the Jan. 13 episode of his podcast Humble brags to Crystal and Cynthia, Crystal Reveals the sordid details behind her broken friendship, including an alleged attempt by a former friend to ruin her reputation. “I was the one who said number 14. Lisa Brought it up because I told him off camera. There were seven (from a group). The fall began when an old friend, who was once considered for RHOBAturned against him.

"An ex-friend of mine wanted to do the show... but her husband didn't support it," Crystal "As his friend, I said, 'I think this is the right decision for your family.'

But when the tension rises Crystal was thrown himself. “I told him, and the conversation wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. He asked, 'Why is it good enough for you and not for me?' Crystal explained

Although she joined the show in part to use her platform to address hate crimes against Asians, she admits she didn't share that rationale at the time, thinking it might come off as an excuse. After their last conversation, Crystal Never heard from his friend again. "That was four and a half years ago," she said.

The fall did not end there. A group photo from her mommy-and-me circle emerged—without her. "It broke my heart," she admitted. "I've sent letters and flowers to everyone, begging them to make things right... No one has responded."

The rejection deepened when Crystal became the target of what was described as a smear campaign. “They started telling people that I made up lies about them. Then they DMed the cast members to ruin my character,” he alleged.

"It didn't just put me off — it was, 'Now we have to destroy him.'" Despite the negativity, Crystal He found support from his closest allies.

"My best friends are amazing because they really stood by me," she shares, adding that others warned her personally about the toxicity within the group. "You don't think this will ever happen to you." Looking back now, Crystal seems ready to move on.

"I learned a lot about people, and I'm thankful for friends who were true," he concluded.
