
Amy Robb And TJ Holmes Share their thoughts Matt James And Rachel KirkconnellIts split - and used the opportunity to reaffirm their own love for each other.
Hours after news of James, 33, and Kirkconnell's breakup, Robach, 51, and Holmes, 47, broke on Thursday, January 16. expressed their initial reactions.
“I was heartbroken. We know Matt intimately and since we went through our situation a few years ago, he has been a huge source of support for us both individually and as a couple," said Robach. Shower our friends and family with kindness and love to comfort us. And remind us that our joy comes from you, Lord 💔"
Kirkconnell has yet to address the news. Holmes, meanwhile, James and saved KirkconnellIts sweet social media post, which they shared just weeks before their split.
"You never, ever, ever know what's going on behind the scenes. I can tell you that they just didn't put it out there for the public. We can confirm 100 percent," Holmes noted. "We're going to speculate on the reasons (for their split). No."

Robach agreed that James is "authentic," adding, "He's not putting on a show for Instagram followers or making things seem better than they are. So I believe that if six weeks ago they were both talking like they were from the future. Looking forward to and excited about their life together but that was six weeks ago."
He continued: “In October (2024), they were on a podcast and they were talking openly and candidly about the engagement. Because if you follow them on Instagram, you know they're at that time or stage in their life where everybody's getting married."
In the next episode, Holmes provides insight into his conversation with James about his relationship.
“But I can tell that the things he's saying publicly are also what he's been saying in private. I talked to him a lot about marriage, the future, Rachel and where they were going,” he noted. "So it was consistent with what he was saying publicly and privately."
