In July 2022, Shah pleaded guilty to participating in a nationwide telemarketing scheme that targeted and defrauded elderly and vulnerable people.

She was originally sentenced to six and a half years in prison in January 2023, but her initial sentence was reduced by a year two months later.

Shah will celebrate Thanksgiving with her family next year after her prison sentence was reduced for the third time.

According to Page Sixthe Federal Bureau of Prisons' inmate database indicates that Shah will regain his freedom on November 3, 2026.

The incarcerated reality TV star is serving time at Bryan, Texas, a federal prison.

Jen Shah was arrested in March 2021 along with one of her assistants, Stuart Smith. The duo was charged with conspiracy to commit telemarketing wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering.

On January 6, 2023, Shah was sentenced to six and a half years in prison for her role in orchestrating the telemarketing conspiracy. Her husband Sharrieff and their sons Sharieff Jr. and Omar were in the courtroom when the verdict was read.

Shah apologized for her actions and hurt innocent people and promised to do everything she could to "earn the funds to pay restitution."

Shah's rep went on to reveal that she has "initiated restitution payments" and hopes to be home "as soon as possible so she can get on with her family and work, putting this chapter of her life behind her."

The 51-year-old completed an anger management course in June 2023 and had her sentence reduced by eight months in October 2024.
