according to Fox NewsThe meeting took place on the evening of Tuesday, January 14. At the gathering, Democratic and Republican lawmakers reportedly discussed women's rights, trans rights, and civil rights.
In a clip that has gone viral on social media, Rep. Crockett says: “Someone's campaign coffers are struggling right now. So he's going to keep saying 'trans, trans trans' so people feel threatened and Chile, listen.'”
Deputy Mace, on the other hand, appeared offended by Crockett's words.
"I'm not a child! Don't call me a child! I'm not a child. Don't even start,” he said, interrupting Crockett, who was still speaking. "I am a grown woman. I am 47 years old. I've broken more glass ceilings than ever... You're not going to do that. I'm not a child... If you want to go out, we can do that.'
As the clip progressed, another committee member could be heard calling the meeting.

From there, chaos ensued in the courtroom before Deputy Crockett was pushed back.
