Baldoni has now called on Disney and Marvel to preserve all documents related to the actor's "Deadpool & Wolverine" film, in which he suspects the character was used to mock him.

Baldoni's latest move implies he will go all out in his legal battle against Lively, his "It Ends With Us" co-star.
According to Diversityactor has drawn Marvel chairman Kevin Feige, Disney CEO Bob Iger and director Tim Miller into his ongoing feud with Lively as he prepares to target her husband Reynolds over the way he allegedly taunted him with the character Nicepool in "Deadpool & Wolverine." "
Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, sent a stay-at-law letter to Feige and Iger on Jan. 7 regarding his client's "anticipated claims" against Reynolds, Lively and other unnamed parties.

The letter demands that studio executives retain "any and all documents relating to the development of the Nicepool character" and "communications relating to the development, writing and filming of stories and scenes featuring Nicepool".

Actor believes Ryan Reynolds mocked him in 'Deadpool & Wolverine'
Baldoni claims that Reynolds used his creative control over the film to smear him because of his feud with his wife.
In "Deadpool & Wolverine," which was released in July and also stars Hugh Jackman, Reynolds plays Nicepool, an alternate version of Deadpool.
In the film, Nicepool used lines like "Where the hell is the intimacy coordinator?!" and praise Ladypool, played by Lively, for "getting back" into shape after giving birth.
In another instance, when Deadpool pointed out Nicepool's misogyny, he responded, "It's okay, I identify as a feminist."

These lines seemingly led fans to believe that Nicepool's character was an attack on Baldoni, especially since the remarks the character used are very similar to Lively's allegations in her sexual harassment lawsuit against him.
Baldoni's letter also calls on the studio to withhold "any and all documents relating to or reflecting a deliberate attempt to ridicule, bully, ridicule, intimidate or bully Baldoni through the character of 'Nicepool'."

Justin Baldoni's lawyer believes Ryan Reynolds made fun of his client

In a Jan. 7 appearance on "The Megyn Kelly Show," Freedman addressed the Nicepool character as he questioned why Reynolds would take a comedic turn from his wife's sexual harassment claims.
"What Ryan Reynolds seemingly did was use his power and influence ... on Deadpool and make fun of Justin Baldoni," Freedman said. Daily Mail.
On the show, Kelly played a clip of the Nicepool character wearing a bun that Baldoni has used in the past. The dialogue in the clip seemed to be about the "Clouds" actor's penchant for social activism and Lively's character Ladypool and her pregnancy, prompting Kelly to ask Freedman what he thought about it.
He said: "What I think about it is that if your wife is sexually harassed, you don't make fun of Justin Baldoni; you don't make fun of the situation - you take it very seriously."

Lawyer says Ryan Reynolds' actions undermine credibility of Blake Lively's lawsuit

Freedman went on to suggest that Reynolds' handling of the matter undermines the credibility of his wife's sexual harassment claim against Baldoni.
"What you don't do is mock the person and turn it into a joke," Freedman explained, adding that the proper way Reynolds should have handled the situation would have been to "file a complaint with human resources (and) raise the matter and pursue legal process."
He continued: "If someone is being sexually harassed, you don't make fun of it - it's a serious problem."
"There's no question it's about Justin," Freedman said of Nicepool's resemblance to Baldoni. "I mean, anyone who can watch that — the hair bun, you know, the pregnancy comment — it's pretty obvious what's going on."
Blake Lively's allegations against Justin Baldoni

Lively filed a 10-count lawsuit against Baldoni, alleging that he sexually harassed her on the set of the adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel, and launched a "coordinated effort to destroy her reputation."
According to People MagazineThe "Gossip Girl" star alleged that Baldoni "frequently" called women in the workplace "sexy" and recounted a particular incident in which he "pressured" her to take off her coat to reveal her jumpsuit, even though it was partially unbuttoned and her bra was on display .

Baldoni, meanwhile, has denied the claims, and his lawyer has labeled Lively's filing an attempt to "repair her negative reputation," adding that the claims are "false, outrageous and deliberately maligned with the intent to publicly injure her."
