The podcaster looked ethereal on the magazine's cover, which featured her extremely toned body in a bikini as she walked down a rocky path. But beyond looking beautiful, LaPaglia explained the thought process behind agreeing to do her first magazine cover shoot. She noted:
"It's so much more than looking quote-unquote hot in a bathing suit—it's me reclaiming who I am as a woman, reclaiming my body and my choices and mine election."
The model explained that the images signify that she has returned to take control of her life and narratives. She added: "This is my body; my body is not that experience, and even though I'm not 100% in it right now, this is me. This has nothing to do with anyone else."
