Khloe Kardashian continues to draw criticism after calling Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass a "joke" for allegedly cutting the city's fire department budget months before the devastating fires.

"Community" actress Yvette Nicole Brown is the latest slam Khloé and she did so by reminding the reality TV star of her family's past of excessive water use.

Khloé isn't the only Kardashian to receive criticism amid the Los Angeles fire, as her sister Kim Kardashian she was also condemned for promoting her brand SKIMS during the inferno.

On Monday, Brown shared a screenshot from August 23, 2022. Rolling Stone article headlined, "Kardashians among LA's worst water wasters, using 333,000 gallons across county line in June."

An excerpt of the article said the Kardashian family's use of private jets was the "tip of the iceberg" in terms of their water wastage, adding that it showed their "willful ignorance of climate change."

In Brown's caption for the post, she had a message for Khloé. 53 year old wrote"This is from the year 2022 when Los Angeles was in the middle of a drought. Every citizen was asked to save for the good of everyone else. You know because of the fire?"

She concluded: "This is how some citizens answered the question. Is THIS a joke @khloekardashian?"

Many of Brown's followers reacted to her post by praising her and calling out Khloé Kardashian.

One person commented: "See what happens when you're loud and wrong @khloekardashian ??? Smh."

Another person expressed disappointment that Khloé has hundreds of millions of followers on Instagram. They wrote: "And the problem is Khloe has 304 million followers. Damn!!!!"

A third follower asked Khloé not to say the name of the mayor of Los Angeles. They wrote: "Don't say Mrs. Bass's name now, Khloe."

A fourth person thanked Brown for sharing relevant content. They commented: "@yvettenicolebrown your content from social media to everything you do in the entertainment business is always on point."

They continued: "Thank you for using your platform to spread the truth and fight rumours."

Last Friday, Khloé sparked controversy when she called Mayor Karen Bass a "joke" in a post on her Instagram Stories.

Khloé punched Bass after City Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said so Lisica 11 that the mayor reduced the city's ability to fight fires by seeking significant budget cuts months before the fires started.

Crowley also claimed she asked for more money more than a month ago because some fire engines were due for emergency repairs and hydrants needed fixing. However, her pleas fell on deaf ears.

Khloé shared a screenshot from Crowley's interview on her Instagram stories and expressed her support for the fire chief.

She wrote: "I stand with YOU Chief Crowley!!! You spoke the truth and had tears in your eyes because I could tell you didn't even mean to say it but it was the TRUTH!!!!"

The 40-year-old added: "Thank you for being honest @losangelesfiredepartment Chief Crowley."

She ended up calling Bass out, writing, "Mayor Bass, you are a joke!!!!"

After Khloé's announcement, many liberals took to social media to speak out blow it up because he was quick to call out Bass, but did not do the same to other controversial politicians and public figures.

One person per X wrote"Interesting how Khloe Elon Musk Kardashian was very quick to call Mayor Karen Bass a 'JOKE' but had no smoke for Trump, JD Vance or Elon during the last election."

Another person on X observed"There's something about the way Khloe Kardashian has been on IG, reposting nothing but content from right-wing MAGA influencers vilifying Mayor Bass in light of these devastating fires that doesn't sit well with me. I've never seen her call out former Mayor Garcetti like that. .."

Third X user wrote"I'm tired of LA Mayor Karen Bass being torn down here. And Khloe K needs to STFU. Let's get something straight. If you're from LA, you know Los Angeles is a specific area. Khloe K needs to talk to HER own mayor Alicia Weintraub Yes, the mayor of Calabasas.

Amid the criticism, Khloé, who shares two children with NBA star Tristan Thompson, she also received support from people who felt she did the right thing by calling out Bass, who they felt should resign.

Khloé isn't the only Kardashian to receive criticism amid the fire. Her sister Kim Kardashian was also attacked after her promoted SKIMS winter action.

After Kim shared the sale on Instagram Stories, Los Angeles writer and comedian Meredith Lynch called her out, accusing her of prioritizing her brand over devastating wildfires.

A frustrated Lynch he said"Kim Kardashian, who has this huge reach, who has such a base in Los Angeles, it's wild to me that they're not like, 'hey, let me use my platform to get as many resources as possible.'

She added: "No, instead, she's like 'buy SKIMS'."

Fans joined Lynch in attacking Kim, calling her post insensitive and accusing her of not caring about others.
