Also, the film focuses heavily on the effects of gentrification. But it focuses on two friends - played by Keke Palmer and SZA - who are "trying to become".

While speaking, Palmer reflected on his chemistry with SZA and how that translated on screen.

"I think maybe we naturally have a similar vibe" Palmer explained. "We first met on SNL (Saturday Night Live) ... then we met on film and ... we just had natural chemistry. I can't even explain that."
