Baby it doesn't feel like a "baby mama" label, especially Lil Scrappy. In a recent 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' clip, Bam slams her ex-husband for using the term about her. For context, the former couple divorced in 2023, but adopted three children named Breland, Xylo and Cali during their marriage.

Bambi Explains Why He's Not "Baby Mama"

Amy Luciani, Spice, Scrap and Bambi debated on the reality TV show. After Amy finished her comment, Scrappy replied: "…I don't like being in a drama with my mom."

Bam quickly asked if Erica was talking about Dixon. He said no and confirmed that he was talking about her. "Don't refer to me as your baby mama. Don't do that," said Bambi. He replied, "What do you mean?" and redoubled his attitude. At that point, Karlie Redd jumped in and said: "That's your ex-wife." He then proceeded to explain the point he was making. However, the scene was cut short by Bam's confessional comments.

"When Scrap is in front of me, you will respect me completely and you will never refer to me as your baby mother because you married me and I gave you three children. That will never give the baby," Bambi explained.

For context, Erica and the rapper share an 18-year-old daughter named Emani, who they had out of wedlock. Although Erica and Scrap were married in the early 2010s, Bambi is the only woman to have been married and had children while married.

In December 2024, she welcomed her second child out of wedlock, a son named Kyrie. Scrap fathered the child on a supposition three way sex encounter with two women, including Kyrie's mother, Shakira.

The roomies weigh in on Bam's attitude

After The Shade Room reposted the clip on IG, over 8,300 reactions flooded the comments section. The roommates were reportedly in favor of Bambi ditching the tag, but read on to see for yourself.

Lyrica Anderson wrote: “It's an ex-WIFE what you say. N****s think "baby mama" is cool!

@dominiquechinn agreed, writing, “I mean, they were married. So the ex-wife makes more sense, right?"

@thee_only_cici mentioned Erica to Bam. He wrote, "I was with him until he brought up the name Erica, the girl you can still point to... because he really wanted to marry Erica if we're being realistic..."

Meanwhile, @indexribeabull joked: "It is to give a mother a child."

@natural.beauu offered a different perspective, writing, "I'm an ex-wife and I *** could call her brother IDC."

But @diamondshinezbright said: "There's a big difference between a baby mama and an ex-wife!"
