The exclusive Chateau Marmont, a favorite hotel for many Hollywood stars, is opening its doors to firefighters and evacuees from the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires.

"To the heroes and victims of the Hollywood community who have lost their homes... we want to invite you to our safe haven," the hotel announced in a media release. Instagram Posted on Sunday, January 12th. "For the next week, we are making our cottages available for free two-night stays to Los Angeles firefighters and members of the unions representing our city's creative industries."

For firefighters and those displaced by ongoing wildfires to take advantage of the offer, the post instructs them to "call the hotel directly." Chateau Marmont's exact number can be found on the hotel's Instagram bio.

"Requests for cottages will be located in the order they are received," the post concluded

At least 16 people have lost their lives in five wildfires around LA, according to local authorities, although officials believe the number could rise as more search and rescue efforts continue.
