However, according to a source close to The Blastthe stars in the prestigious hotel, which is full of guests, are now exposed to the COVID-19 virus.

This comes amid news that the bushfires are likely to worsen, with more than 24 lives lost and several properties destroyed.

A source exclusively revealed The Blast that celebrities and dignitaries at the Beverly Hills Hotel may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus.

They said that Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis, who is performing in Nashville, is currently staying at the hotel while checking on her house, which survived the fire.

However, the actress and several other unnamed stars at the overbooked establishment reportedly became infected.

The source also notes that some of the celebrities at the hotel look disheveled. Renowned director and film producer Ron Howard has been said to "wander around in his robe" while being "unshaven".

Another source, who contacted the hotel about a reservation for her "grandma" and asked about rumors of COVID due to her health, was told by the manager that there were no reports of anyone having COVID at the facility.

"No, as far as I know," the front desk manager said, adding, "I haven't heard any reports of anyone being sick or having COVID."

After the first wildfire in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Southern California, several high-end hotels that were not affected by the fire became fully booked.

The Daily Mail reported that most hotel guests were among the more than 30,000 people forced from their homes by the devastating fire.

"I evacuated early and called the Hilton right away. They had 2 more rooms. I feel lucky to be able to get in," said Lisa Ann, who had a $7 million home in the Palisades.

She added: "They sold out so quickly, as soon as people started smelling the smoke, they went to hotels.com."

Due to the large number of guests, the hotel has become quite chaotic, people and animals can be seen everywhere.

"People are everywhere, dragging their Gucci luggage and animals, dogs and cats too, I saw a parrot in a cage. It's crazy," the longtime Palisades resident further noted.

The trauma of the wildfires reportedly caused some of these affected millionaires to start looking elsewhere, outside of California.

"Someone was already looking for a new home on Realtor.com, they said they were going to Utah or Oregon. Everyone is shaken. They want to get out of California," Ann said.

She also claimed that the "stress is super high" for everyone affected, leading many to drown in alcohol as a coping mechanism.

"I mean, what else are you going to do? People order vodka on the rocks, hold the soda. I saw a woman crying on the phone, mascara everywhere," Ann added.

Although it is now clear that the Pacific Palisades wildfire is the largest to ever hit California, its exact cause remains unclear.

Reports claim that the inferno may have been sparked by New Year's Eve revelers using fireworks during the festive celebration.

According to the evidence he reviewed The Washington Postfirefighters were dispatched to Pacific Palisades just after midnight on New Year's Day in response to a small fire that residents claim was started by fireworks.

Although the flames were extinguished at the time, it is now believed to have rekindled, as satellite images of a burn scar from an earlier fire overlapped with the origin of the smoke from the Palisades fire.
