Zendaya flaunted a diamond encrusted ring on her ring finger during the 2025 Golden Globes, causing a stir as people wondered if Tom had popped the question.

Soon after, it was confirmed that the lovebirds were indeed engaged, and since then, information has surfaced about how the "Avengers" star was planning the proposal, the latest being shared by his dad.

Dominic shared his delight at how Tom and Zendaya have handled the public attention their relationship has generated in a Jan. 10 Patreon post.

According to And! Newshe wrote, "I worry that their combined fame will heighten their spotlight and commensurate demands on them, yet they continually baffle me by treating everything with aplomb."

The proud dad, who shares Tom, 28, and his brothers Harry and Sam, 25, and Paddy, 20, with wife Nicki Holland, believes the 'Spider-Man' star has the perfect plan to follow thanks to his and Nicki's 30-year marriage .

He wrote: "Although showbiz is a messy place for relationships, especially celebrity couples who crash and burn in public and are too numerous to mention, with us as an example, with Nikki running this family and my 'wisdom' on touch and study how things are mostly wrong and yet somehow right, at the same time I am fully convinced that they will make a successful union."

Much has been made of how Tom took the time to plan his proposal to Zendaya, with insiders revealing that he asked the actress' father, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, for her hand in marriage a few months ago.

Dominic shared more insight into how his eldest son meticulously planned his proposal.

"He bought a ring," Dominic explained. "He talked to her father and got permission to propose to his daughter. Tom planned everything... When, where, how, what to say, what to wear..."

After Tom and Zendaya's engagement was confirmed, an insider said PEOPLE Magazine that the 28-year-old had wanted to propose for some time.

The source also said: "He was always crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something special."

Tom's intentions for Zendaya were reportedly so clear that everyone close to them "knew the engagement was happening," even though they weren't sure when it would happen.

Although Tom and Zendaya are in no rush to walk down the aisle, sources close to the lovebirds have revealed that they are ready to take the next step in their relationship and consider "starting a family" as soon as they tie the knot.

TMJ announced that his "Spider-Man: No Way Home" co-stars got the same tattoos at the Boston Tattoo Company in Massachusetts the day before Thanksgiving.

According to the outlet, the couple got small and discreet inkings, with Zendaya getting a "T" inked on her ribs, while Tom got a "Z" tattoo in the same spot.

The tabloid also claimed that Zendaya's mom accompanied them to their tattoo appointment and got her own little ink.
