She also noted the irony of having spent most of her life pretending to be older than she was.
"My whole life I've been saying I'm older than I am," Curtis said. "Like, when I was 25, I said I'm almost 30, and people say, 'no, you're 25,' and I'm like, 'I know, but I'm kissing 30,' so I've always been me. I've always been got old."

Curtis revealed that "The Last Showgirl" was shot in just 18 days. The "True Lies" star also said that the set was predominantly women.
"The dynamic is that the movie was shot in 18 days," Curtis said. "It was — a really intense, beautiful kind of fusion of artists and women — mostly women. And, you know, we're playing best friends, so the immediacy of it was in a weird way, as soon as we touched, it was like all my life experiences got into it, and we were like, 'oh good,' and then, you know, we went on."
"Yeah and we're in this together," Anderson added.
