"There have been times in my life where I truly believe I was experiencing postpartum (depression)," Kells, 32, said during the Sunday, Jan. 12, episode. "Sunday Sports Club" Podcast "I know with Wyatt that I had serious baby blues. We left the hospital and I was like, 'So, you're telling me this is mine?'
She continued, "I always tell people the biggest milestone for me with Wyatt was when she could smile and purposefully, because it shows that there was a connection. Most people will take their child home and it's this emotional social media, 'Look at my baby. How beautiful.' No, my baby cried from 8pm to 4am if I wasn't holding him or he wasn't on my breast."
Kylie welcomed her first child, daughter Wyatt Swami Jason Kells In October 2019. They later welcomed daughters Ellie and Bennett in 2021 and 2023 respectively. Kylie Hall Currently pregnant With baby No. 4 - another girl.
While talking to the podcast host Allison Kuch On Sunday's episode, Kylie joked that she and Wyatt "weren't cool" their first few weeks together.
Watt also said that after Kylie and Jason's rainbow baby, the field hockey coach said he was the first Pregnancy loss.
"When we were carrying our first (child), my brain immediately (said), 'We're going to do this, like, there's no swinging,'" Kylie recalled. “It was true because I originally got pregnant a year ago and miscarried when I went to our 13-week appointment. I found out I had a miscarriage and had to have a D&C a few days later."
He added, “I was extremely lucky (and) I think my body (and I) were not on the same page. My body was like, 'Oh, sorry, I didn't know what we were doing.' On my next full cycle, I got pregnant with Wyatt."
With Wyatt, Jason was supposed to give birth to Kylie during the NFL season. (The 37-year-old Super Bowl champ played for the Philadelphia Eagles for 14 seasons His retirement in 2024.)
"The most frequent question was, 'What if you go into labor on game day?'" Kylie said. “Well, thank you very much for your concern about me. I'm a person who's just like, 'I'm going to do it.' So, I had a conversation if I go into labor … (when Jason had a game), 'I'm not telling you. I will tell you when you are done. I'm not asking you to leave the game.'
Fortunately, one of Jason's Eagles commitments was born Wednesday "with full induction." He was able to witness the birth of his eldest child and then leave for his next game two days later.
Now that Jason is retired, the birth of baby No. 4 will be less stressful.
"It's significantly less planning, honestly," Kylie said. "With Wyatt, we had a lot of conversations with the OBs, who are my saviors. I love them."
