Paris Jackson revealed her addiction to alcohol and heroin
Earlier this week, Jackson took to his Instagram feed to share the video with his more than 5.4 million followers. In the caption of his post, Jackson wrote:
"Hi, I'm pk and I'm an alcoholic and a heroin addict. today marks 5 years clean and sober from all drugs and alcohol. To say I'm grateful would be an understatement...”
As he continued, Jackson explained that his feelings of gratitude would "hardly (scratch) the surface."
"... it's because I'm sober that I'm smiling today. I manage to make music. I experience the joy of loving my dogs and cat. I feel heartbreak in all its glory. I get upset. I laugh I start dancing. I gain confidence. I can feel the sun on my skin and it's hot," he continued. "I've found that life keeps happening whether I'm sober or not, but I'm going to show up today..."
Before ending her message, Jackson told fans she was sharing "a little snapshot of what's possible" because of her sobriety.
"and my god I can't believe I've lost almost everything," she added.
