The seventh episode of "Star Wars: The Crew of the Skeleton" is full of revelations of great space pirates. Not only does it Jude Law — or whatever his real name is — fully embraces his role as the show's true villain, but he kills Brutus (voiced by Fred Tatasciore, with Stephen Oyong as the performance artist) in an almost casual manner when the embattled Shystavanen is caught in Onyx. Cinderella's Claw. Even SM-33 (voiced by Nick Frost) shows that he can overcome his previous strict adherence to the pirate code by siding with the kids when push comes to shove, even though he gets beheaded for his troubles.

Amidst all these big twists, the episode also sneakily teases another, potentially even more important, pirate-themed revelation — namely, the true identity of famed pirate captain Tuck Renaud, who just might turn out to be none other than the planet's mysterious overseer ( voiced by Stephen Fry). "Skeleton Crew" made sure to portray Renaud as a cruel and almost mythically capable individual whose greatest work is finding the lost The planet Old Republic of Athens. While We'll Be in So Much Trouble strays away from Renaud's lore, careful viewers can pick up on numerous hints that all but confirm that the mysterious pirate and the equally mysterious Atin Higher are the same person.

Tuck Renaud, the legendary pirate captain and previous owner of the Onyx Cinder, is remembered in song and legend. His vast gold hoard on Lanupa shows that he too walked the walk. However, despite the constant name-dropping, he's largely shrouded in mystery, with the most we've seen of him being a suitably shadowy hologram in "Skeleton Crew" Episode 6, "Zero Friends Again."

However, this may change soon. The big Renaud-themed reveal of episode 7 is that Onyx Cinder is originally a vessel in Aten, allowing it to bypass the planet's defenses. As such, Tak Renaud must have already been on the planet when he bought the ship. Also, someone must have brought it back before the kids found it in episode 1 of "Skeleton Crew". All of this suggests that Tak Renaud is originally from Aten and potentially has high enough security clearance to leave the planet for an extended period of time. Since the only person whose face we haven't seen yet is the supervisor, the evidence mounts.

Admittedly, there is conflicting information as to whether Renaud is even alive. While the pirate lore that Jod recites says that the captain simply disappeared, SM-33 said that Renaud's concubine fatally stabbed him before the ship crashed on Atin. However, the pirate droid had previously been under secret orders to provide false information, so it's entirely possible that Renaud is still out there. Combine this with the fact that Renaud's hologram looks a lot like what The Supervisor's voice actor Stephen Fry might look like in a cool Star Wars pirate costume, and it's tempting to expect a nice identity-revealing scene when Disney+ releases " Star Wars: Skeleton Crew”.
