Tom Holland and Zendaya, who are known to be very private about their romance, have been dating for more than four years after meeting on the set of Marvel's "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

Sources have confirmed that the actor went the traditional route to propose to his now fiancee Zendaya.

TMJ reports that the Marvel star asked Zendaya's father, Kazembe Ajama Coleman, to marry her "a few months ago."

Kazembe is said to have accepted the actor's request, and Zendaya's family is nothing but excited for her and her beau, who they reportedly consider a "class act."

According to the newspaper, Holland took his time to propose after receiving Kazembe's blessing because he wanted to do it at the right time.

The news comes after it was confirmed that Holland proposed to Zendaya at one of her family's homes in the US between Christmas and New Year.

Zendaya herself flaunted her massive diamond ring at the just-concluded Golden Globes, which initially sparked engagement speculation.

However, neither Holland nor Zendaya have officially addressed the reports of their engagement.
