The rapper served up a mirror selfie of his well-sculpted body on social media alongside some soulful motivational rhymes as he ushered in the new year.
Busta Rhymes' body transformation began after an embarrassing health scare following a restless episode in the bedroom, which is now bearing positive fruit for the entertainer.

The Blast shared that the rapper came clean in the interview and detailed the moment he had an epiphany about turning his life around for the better after gaining weight.
Rhymes explained that the terrifying incident happened in 2020 when he experienced an asthma attack after having sex. A health scare left him with an insatiable thirst for immediate transformation in his physical and mental health.
"One night, I was about to have, make, you know... I was about to have an intimate moment with my ex," the "Look at Me Now" singer began, before adding: "I was having trouble breathing after the intimate interaction ."
He noted that he was "trying to breathe and it just didn't seem to work. I felt like I was having an asthma attack - but I don't have asthma."

"So I walked out of the bedroom and into the living room, and I was forcing myself to breathe, to relax," Rhimes explained.
The father of five turned his then-partner's heartwarming comments into a reason to fight weight gain
Rhymes detailed his ex-partner's reaction to his physical appearance during one of their love-making episodes, which left him a bit insecure.
He admitted that the comments triggered something in him, deeply influencing his journey to transform his body, soul and mind.
"She was like, 'Yo, this is not who I fell in love with,'" he noted. "She didn't know what happened outside, but she was looking at my body and my weight. She was like, 'You need to lose weight. This breathing is scaring me.' Rhymes explained that his partner reminisced about their first meeting, stating:
“When I met you, you he wasn't like a mouse, but you, you was slim, you was cutyou had your shit right. I need you come back who I fell in love with."

The New Yorker blamed his weight gain on the emotional impact of losing his father, which led him to take solace in junk food, alcohol and other unhealthy lifestyle habits, which led to his weight gain.
"My dad died in 2014, and I drowned in work. I just kept drinking, smoking, eating bad — all that crap — and recording a bunch of songs just to escape the pain," Rimes noted.
He went on to say, "I also had a 90 percent blockage in my throat due to polyps on my vocal cords, and I was breathing badly."

The emcee, who admitted he turned down surgery to speed up his weight loss for fear of losing his signature baritone voice, recalled another low point in his life that contributed to his current reality.
Rimes explained that it happened in 2019 when his son and his security guard spent about 45 minutes getting him out of the car after he passed out. After this incident, the doctor allegedly told him that he might die in his sleep. The 52-year-old shared:
“I was also afraid of having vocal cord polyp surgery because my voice is how I feed my family – the voice is the dragon. I avoided surgery as much as I could, but after that weekend I saw doctor, and he looked at my throat and said I could die in my sleep. Then I got the surgery and started getting back in shape."
