America's Next Top Model winner Adrian Curry Opening up about how a breast implant extract changed her perception — and her life.

"Five years post-breast implant explant, and I've completely transformed," Curry, 42, wrote via X Monday, January 6. “The first year, I cried non-stop. Lost over 90% of my natural breast to necrosis and refused fat transfer. I was not willing to risk my health for vanity. I had a crash course in being humble and empty."

A "breast implant extraction," also called "breast implant removal" or "explant," is a surgical procedure in which a doctor removes previously placed silicone or saline breast implants. Curry detailed her own harrowing surgery and post-op process on Monday, sharing that her husband, Mathew Road"I had to cut out all the stitches because of the remote living and the weather."

"I was brought to my knees in humility and came through the fire of dying my pride," he continued. “It took 2 years for them to settle down and see people. My husband was my rock... and I couldn't believe how upset he was with my outspokenness."

Five years later, Curry — who won the first cycle America's Next Top Model Back in 2003 - she was "happy and healthy" and "wouldn't wish plastic surgery" on her "worst enemy".

"It did nothing to ease my body dysmorphia and only hurt me for years," she explained, adding, "Be okay with who and what you are. In my case, I'm much less than what I was."

Following her vulnerable post, people flocked to the comments section to praise Curry for being so candid about her plastic surgery experience. When a fan thanked the model for "sharing things I can't think of to share," Curry replied, "If I can stop someone from mutilating their healthy body with this... then it's a waste." A second person revealed that they sent Curry's post to their daughter who was considering getting herself an implant. "Dear God, I hope he doesn't mutilate his body," Curry responded.

Elsewhere in the comments section, Curry admitted that she holds herself "100 percent accountable" for her breast implants and for making what she now sees as "an ill-educated and life-changing decision."

The former reality star also clarified that she didn't get the extract because of cancer or illness, but because of "stupidity, vanity and instability of the body" she initially got the implant because half of her chest was "conclave", but they didn't. t "Fix it."

Several hours later, Curry shared another photo of her Montana paradise via Instagram, captioning the shot, “There's nowhere you can't be. You're meant to be. It's simple. All you need is love."
