Tennis superstar Naomi Osaka has announced that she has split from her longtime boyfriend Cordae.

Osaka and Cordae have been in a relationship since 2019 and share a relationship a daughter named Shaiwhom they welcomed in July 2023.

The couple's split comes as a surprise to fans as they seemed to be going strong, with their latest appearance coming at Jamie Foxx's birthday party.

Osaka shared a shocking update with her followers on her Instagram stories on Monday.

The 27-year-old shared a message that read: "Hi everyone, just wanted to say Cordae and I are no longer in a relationship."

Osaka, which broke up rumors with Cordae in 2022, made sure everyone knew they parted on good terms and added that he was a great father to their daughter.

She wrote: "No bad blood at all, he's a great person and a great dad. Honestly, I'm glad our paths crossed because my daughter is my greatest blessing and I've been able to grow a lot from our experience together."

Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx celebrated his 57th birthday on December 13th, but on December 10th he hosted many of his famous friends at Mr Chows in Beverly Hills, California.

Osaka and Cordae were among the celebrities who attended.

On January 11, 2023, Osaka shared "a little life update" with her fans. post on Xformerly Twitter.

A photo of the ultrasound accompanied the post, along with a caption from the tennis player that read: "The past few years have been interesting to say the least, but I find it's the most challenging times in life that can also be the most fun."

Osaka, who was on an extended absence from the tennis court at the time, also wrote: "These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I've dedicated my life to. I realize life is so short and that I don't take any moment for granted, every day is a new blessing and adventure."

She added: "I know I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I'm looking forward to is my child watching one of my matches and saying to someone, 'that's my mum' haha.

Osaka concluded: "2023 will be a year full of lessons for me and I hope to see you at the start of the next one as I will be at Aus 2024. I love you all endlessly."
