Jake LloydBest known for playing a young Anakin Skywalker in 1999 Star Wars: Episode 1 — The Phantom Menaceoffered an update on his schizophrenia diagnosis.

He revealed in late 2024 that he was currently living in a rehab facility after spending 18 months at an inpatient mental health facility in Southern California.

“I can now continue treatment, and therapy and taking my medication. Everyone has been so supportive,” Lloyd shared, describing how he feels while taking his medication. “I don't have time to feel restless. It's too much of a cushion."

Lloyd was just 8 years old when he played a young Anakin Skywalker Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace. According to the former actor, his experience Star Wars Overall has been positive.

"The experiences I've had with the fans are immediately therapeutic," he shared. “Right now, it's still therapeutic. It is helpful and healthy for humans. It's not something I'll be ashamed of."
