Denise Richards competes in the third season of the reality series "Special Forces: The World's Toughest Test" and recently shared the details of a surprising injury she suffered during filming.
The "Wild Things" star revealed the injury happened while performing a daring jump from a bridge for the show.
At 53, Richards also noticed that insurance wouldn't cover medical expenses, leaving her to pay the bills herself.

Richards appeared on "Jeff Lewis Live" with her husband, Aaron Phypers on Friday, and revealed that she ruptured both breast implants while jumping off a bridge for "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test."
According to PEOPLERichards was wearing a harness when she jumped off a bridge for a performance, and the harness was responsible for rupturing her implants.
"I jumped off a bridge too - and that's when I tore my implants - off that thing," she revealed.
The actress from the series "The World Is Not Enough" added that she still needs to have her breasts redone after filming ends, and the insurance won't pay.
"I still have to redo them," she said. "I was supposed to a month ago, but I couldn't because we were filming. So, yeah, no, I still have to redo them."

"I have to pay," Richards continued. "I think we pretty much signed our life away doing that show."
"It's dangerous," she added.

"Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" follows the cast as they survive training in Wales at the home of the British Special Forces team.
The show will premiere on January 8, and the cast will face challenges such as using ladders to get between cliffs nearly 100 feet above sea level, submerging in cold waters and controlling panic in a drowning exercise.
After Richards noted that the show's insurance wasn't paying to fix her breasts despite being injured on set, Phypers chimed in and said, "Maybe we can work it out later."

Richards also revealed that her three daughters - 20-year-old Sami, Lola, 19 and 13-year-old Eloise - were scared for their mum and "very upset" when they found out she had joined the show.
"They didn't want me to do it," Richards said. "They were afraid that I would get hurt or killed, but they were actually very angry. For the first time, they were very angry with me from all the times I was doing different projects or traveling."
"I thought, this is the most challenging thing I'll ever do, and why not do it?" I was terrified, but when I committed to doing it, I was there," she added.

Richards was also afraid to appear on the reality show
Richards shared a "Special Forces" clip. Instagramand she also admitted that she was afraid of reality shows.
She wrote the post "No acting - just action", and in the video she revealed her fear of heights.
"Oh my God ... I'm freezing and I can't function," Richards said. "It's so scary to be so vulnerable."
The clip also features the "Love, Actually" actress jumping off a bridge wearing a head camera and bungee cords. She was also seen jumping from a boat to a helicopter.

"Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" also stars Stephen Baldwin, Brody Jenner, Christy Carlson Romano, Trista Sutter, Cam Newton, Olympic track star Marion Jones, Olympic swimmer Nathan Adrian and former NFL star Golden Tate, to name a few.
Richards said she was "intimidated" when she found out several athletes would be her competitors on the show.
"I was so intimidated by everyone," said Richards of the cast. "I didn't know who was going to be there, but I heard there were some athletes and I can't compete with that."
"But that's the biggest thing, it's not about competing against anyone but myself," she continued. "And that's why they strip us raw, physically and mentally and emotionally and all that."
