Backup singer Taylor Swift shares new photos of the singer soaking up the sun

Singer Taylor Swift he's clearly been enjoying a break from the Eras tour, which ended its highly successful run in December 2024.

On Saturday, the "Anti-Hero" singer's backup singer, Jeslyn Gorman, shared a carousel of twenty photos on Instagram to wrap up her thoughts on 2024. Two of the photos featured Taylor Swift, including one of her relaxing on a boat in a swimsuit .

Two photos shared by backing singer Jeslyn Gorman show Taylor Swift having the time of her life while on hiatus from "The Eras Tour." The fifth photo in the carousel shows the "Cruel Summer" singer lounging on a boat in the ocean wearing a two-piece swimsuit, sunglasses and a hat. Her back-up singers are gathered around her as they soak up the sun.

The next photo comes a little later in the carousel and shows Swift and her backup dancers gathered at what appears to be a doorway. For this, the “All Too Well” singer wears what appears to be a black floral dress along with black heeled shoes. Her other backup dancers also wear dresses and other formal wear as if the group is getting ready to go out to dinner or just enjoying a night out on the town.

In the lyrics to "The 1" — her 2020 song from her pandemic album "Folklore," Swift sings, “We were something, don't you think so? Rosé flows with your chosen family.” Gorman mentions her "chosen family" as she shares "some things (she's) learned in 2024," as she detailed in the caption of her post.

“Joy is medicine. Grace is a wonderful gift that we do not give ourselves enough. Don't worry about the little things, you have a life to enjoy. Generosity not only lifts someone else up, it magically lifts you up as well.

We are capable of much more than we can imagine. Strength and resilience is the result of discomfort and hard work,” she wrote, adding, “My chosen family is pretty awesome.”

After teasing how TikTok is "useful for travel plans," she works in another Swift text, saying she's "loved beyond my wildest dreams."

"Traveling is a spiritual experience, you learn a lot about yourself. Having a safe vulnerable space to express yourself is a privilege. You can't fix everything.. and that's okay. Every day is a new opportunity to be the best, to choose grace, to choose joy, to choose love," she concluded. "For more love in 2025."

This is not the first time she has shown her love for Taylor Swift!

Three weeks ago, Gorman wrote a birthday tribute to the "Love Story" singer along with a photo from the Eras tour of the two of them laughing on stage. "Girls whose heart shines through everything and everyone. You get fired up when you perform and you leave such a beautiful glowing ember behind you in every city you touch, because of who you are,” she wrote in the caption.

"And not only was I blessed with a front row seat, but also a part of your spotlight that you so generously shine on me and everyone else on that stage...I will never take that kind of love for granted," she continued, continuing to write, "Given you are so much of yourself this year, I hope you get all the love today and it feels like the biggest hug ever. I also hope that includes putting your poor feet up.”

She ended the post by writing, “Happy birthday to my sweet friend @taylorswift. I love you to Karma and back,” working in another Swift lyric.

A year earlier, in December 2023, she shared a TikTok video montage of Eras tour highlights in a post set to the singer's hit song "It's Nice to Have a Friend." In the caption, she again praised the singer's "heart and generosity".

“How do I even find the words?! Taylor, what a friend you have been to me this year. Your heart and generosity are beyond measure. And just when I think you DID IT, you are AWESOME! What a YEAR this is for you!!” she wrote the video.

“I am in awe of your tenacity, your passion not only for your work but for the things you believe in, and just your ability to lead the pack with so much joy, love and excitement. I love you more and more with every laugh, hug and hip shake. Cheers, my friend!” she added. “I hope that this next year will somehow surpass the last one! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!”

Jeslyn Gorman 'blessed' to be part of 'Eras ​​Tour'

Now that The Eras Tour is all said and done, Gorman looked back fondly on her memories in a Dec. 21 post. The video showed different moments from the record-breaking tour, all set to her song “New Year's Day”.

After admitting that it was "paralyzing and overwhelming" trying to explain what the tour meant to her, she admitted that she was "trying her best to find the words through the tears".

"This experience for me was more than a tour, more than just a show," she wrote. "These people I get to call family, the love we feel on stage and off... 'us' will be the only 'us' we will ever be on this beautiful, exhausting, record-breaking, joy-filled, tour of a lifetime."

She later called the tour a “blessing” and rounded off her post by dropping another Taylor Swift song: “Long live the magic that was #TheErasTour ... holding onto the memories with all my might. I hope I never forget that.”
