Now, the Gospel titan is apologizing to anyone who felt offended by her clothes and dance style.

Kirk Franklin addresses the backlash against his performance in Jamaica

Kirk Franklin addressed some of the 2024 controversies in a video he shared Instagram. The full clip is available on his YouTube. In the clip, Franklin apologized for his choices and reflected on the biggest moments of his year.

He also addressed the reaction received during his performance at the 'Fun in the Son' concert in Jamaica, Christian Post. In the clip, Franklin said she didn't expect her outfit to offend anyone, given the hot weather, and didn't think it would come across as "disrespectful," but it did.

β€œI've spent most of my career dancing and moving and jumping around on stage, I didn't know I would do anything that would offend anyone in the community, but it did. And because it was, I sincerely apologize," Franklin said.

The 'I Smile' musician went on to apologise, honestly saying that he will always be humble and open to listen to people and their concerns.

β€œI apologize from the bottom of my heart, because I never want to go to a place where I can't learn, I can't learn what I need to do better, what I can do differently as I grow as a man, to make sure I grow. physically or in any aspect, that I am always humble and submissive enough to listen to people and their concerns because the message of Jesus is greater," Kirk continued.
