Michael B. Jordan is once again making waves in the Netflix property universe, but this time it's not about the purchase — it's about the drama surrounding it.

The Hollywood actor has become an unexpected flashpoint on "Selling the City," the latest Netflix real estate show, because of a past situation with a cast member. Gisselle Meneses Nunez.

Gisselle Meneses Nunez first revealed that she had an affair with Michael B. Jordan about seven years ago.

On the series premiere, Eleonora Srugo presented her team at Douglas Elliman with a stunning $20 million penthouse in Olympia Dumbo. During the presentation, she hinted at the "pretty high profile" client who backed out.

Although she refrained from naming names, her co-star Abigail Godfrey did not hold back, admitting in the confessional: “We all know. It's a public record. Everyone knows who it is. I don't know why we're all talking in code.”

It quickly became clear that the buyer in question was none other than Michael B. Jordan.

Eleanor encouraged her team to use the information, prompting Jordyn Taylor Braff to share her own encounter with the star. “I was out one night with my boyfriend and we just happened to run into each other. The drinks were flowing, he let us know what his real estate needs were,” Jordyn revealed.

She emphasized the competitive atmosphere of the evening, adding: “There were three other estate agents in the room, so I had to make sure it was ours. We bring that to the team.”

However, Gisselle was not thrilled with Jordyn's triumph, citing her personal history with Jordan. “This client is someone I had a situation with seven years ago. But we are still in touch and still good friends. We talked about real estate," she explained in her confessional.

What stung Gisselle the most was that Jordyn didn't warn her that she was going to reconnect with Jordan professionally. "It's code for girls," she added.

The tension between the two agents escalated into a private conflict. Gisselle confronted Jordyn, saying, "You should have texted me before I contacted the actor." Jordyn, however, hit back, saying: “Don't forget, I've known this person for years too. This person is my friend. We were distant friends for years. My point is that there is no personal relationship. It's about a relaxed business relationship, which is why this works so well.”

As emotions flared, Jordyn accused Gisselle of making the deal too personal, while Gisselle insisted that her previous professional interactions with Jordan and his team played a part in the situation.

The argument escalated when Gisselle brought up Jordyn's ex-boyfriend, Trevor Noah. “What you're saying is that if I run into Trevor Noah and now go after him and take him on as a client, that's okay?” Gisselle asked. Jordyn shot back, “Is that a threat? Are you on a mission to do that now?”

Despite the heated exchange, the two women reached an impasse, admitting they weren't sure how to "build trust" after such a disagreement. In an interview with Us WeeklyJordyn later admitted that they are "still working" on finalizing a long-term deal.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time Michael B. Jordan's name has been involved in a Netflix real estate drama. Fans of "Selling Sunset" may remember how Bre Tiesi casually revealed during season seven that she had a relationship with Jordan in the past.

"Who would you sleep with a celebrity? Who would you choose?” Chrisshell Stause he wondered before Amanza Smith chose the Marvel actor. Bre, meanwhile, replied: “I could do it, and I did it. I slept with all my favorites. Just kidding.”

Bre later claimed her comment was part of a wider conversation about her relationship with Nick Cannon, with whom she shares two-year-old son Legendary.

Whether or not Michael B. Jordan ever completes the purchase, one thing's for sure - his presence continues to cause drama in the world of luxury real estate
