The trailer shows Markle in an elegant kitchen, surrounded by smiling friends, preparing meals in an atmosphere of privilege. The series will include celebrity guest appearances such as Mindy KalingRoy Choi, Alice Waters and her former "Suits" co-star, Abigail Spencer.
However, after seeing the trailer, Meghan McCain criticized the promo as "tone-deaf", pointing out the irony of Meghan Markle portraying an aristocratic lifestyle after famously leaving the royal family.

John McCain's eldest daughter continued to rant Xthe social media platform formerly known as Twitter, which condemned Markle.
"I was a fan of Meghan Markle at first, I thought she was cool and elegant and refreshing," McCain began. "Like the rest of the world, my opinion changed when she disrespected the royal family. Now that she wants to be American again instead of British aristocracy what she seems to forget is that Americans want real, raw, uncensored."
"All of this, even in the trailer, is highly curated, produced and out of touch," she continued. "There have been 2 terrorist attacks in 2 days, major wars are raging and Americans can't pay for their groceries. Right now we are a country in anger, uncertainty and intensity."

Meghan McCain calls Meghan Markle 'deaf'
She later added that the "concept is ill-advised" and that she would "tell (Markle) to do a show that will help bring fresh food to food deserts in low-income neighborhoods."
"Do something to help people instead of your ego," former star of "The View." he said. "That's why the world doesn't love you, nothing else. Just completely and utterly deaf for a moment."

Meghan Markle's Netflix series premieres in January
On Thursday, January 2, the Duchess of Sussex unveiled her new lifestyle series, "Love, Megan," via her newly launched Instagram account. Filmed in Montecito, California, the series offers glimpses of Meghan cooking in her kitchen, tending a beehive, arranging flowers at a local shop and sharing meaningful moments with friends and special guests, including her husband Prince Harry.

Premiering January 15 on Netflix, the series marks a personal and creative milestone for Meghan as she takes on the roles of both host and executive producer.

What is 'Love, Meghan'?
Netflix describes the series as “an inspiring series, produced by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, that reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical instruction and candid conversations with friends, new and old.”
"Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlighting how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected," the company added. "She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, garden and beyond, and I invite you to do the same."
The Duchess of Sussex has long been passionate about cooking, a love she previously shared on her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig. She also collaborated with Hubb Community Kitchen on a fundraising cookbook, marking one of her first major initiatives as a member of the royal family.

Who is involved in Meghan Markle's upcoming project?
The eight-episode series, each about 33 minutes long, features an impressive line-up of Meghan's closest friends. Among the guests are an actress and a producer Mindy Kalingformer "Suits" star. Abigail Spencerand Tracy Robbins (wife of the CEO of Paramount Brian Robbins).
The series also includes performances by long-time makeup artists Daniel Martinphotographer Delphine Blaquier (wife of a polo star Nacho Figuerasa close friend of Prince Harry), founder of Tatch Vicky Tsaiveteran literary agent and co-founder of the Kuma Bookstore Jennifer Rudolph Walshand Kelly McKee Zaifenco-founder of the Alliance of Moms.
Since stepping back from their royal duties in 2020 and making their home in California, the couple has built a significant presence in media production through a multi-year Netflix partnership, reportedly valued at $100 million.
