Comedian Hannah Berner is facing intense backlash after making an "extremely sexist" joke Taylor Swift'with relationship with Travis Kelce during a recent stand-up set.

The clip, taken from Netflix's "Torching 2024," shows Berner joking about Taylor Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce, which many fans found offensive.

Berner quipped, "Who knew besides Travis Kelce that you could become so popular with women if you killed a billionaire?"

Swifties took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to express their outrage after an "inappropriate" clip of comedian Hannah Berner went viral.

One Taylor Swift called Berner's joke "totally mean" for "objectifying" the pop icon.

Another claimed it was "humiliating to Taylor".

"The number of people who defend this because they think it's okay to say whatever you want about a rich celebrity, even if you don't dare say it about someone you actually know. It gives 'there's a Taylor-shaped hole in people's ethics,'" he said. one user X responding to comments from other social network users.

"Ugh. That's such a bad joke," remarked another.

"I really liked her, but this is just disappointing and not at all funny," admitted a third person.

This isn't the first time Hannah Berner has faced backlash for her jokes. Just last week, the comedian sparked controversy with another remark from the same Netflix roast, where she described Blake Lively as a "c—nt" amid the actress' drama with Justin Baldoni around their film adaptation of "It Ends With Us".

On December 27, Berner addressed the backlash, clarifying that her set was taped before Lively's allegations against Baldoni made headlines.

"To be 100 percent clear, I support Blake xoxo," the former reality TV star wrote on her Instagram stories at the time.

As The Blast reported, Blake Lively has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, accusing him of fostering a "hostile work environment" on the set of their upcoming film, It Ends With Us. In the lawsuit, filed with the California Department of Civil Rights, Lively claims that Baldoni "ignored well-established industry protocols in filming intimate scenes and took advantage of a lack of control on set to act inappropriately."
