It seems Sam Asghari he wants to start the new year by showing off his new girlfriend to the world.

The "Special Ops: Lioness" actor was previously married Britney Spears after meeting on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video in 2016. The two got engaged in September 2021, just two months before her controversial 13-year conservatorship was denied by a judge.

They married in June 2022, but it wasn't long before the former personal trainer filed for divorce in August 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

Although Sam Asghari seems to have moved on to his ex Britney Spears, it seems that many fans are still not over their relationship. In August 2023, the actor filed for divorce, which was settled in May 2024. As of December 2024, the state of California declared them legally single.

The former personal trainer appears to have spent the holidays celebrating with his new girlfriend, real estate agent Brooke Irvine, and made their relationship official in a few photos he shared on their new relationship on January 1 to usher in the new year.

Although the Toxic singer has turned off comments on her Instagram posts, Sam has never been shy about letting her followers speak their minds.

On January 1, the "Hot Seat" actor shared five photos showing his new relationship with the blonde beauty. "Happy New Year everyone," he wrote in the caption. It's clear that his sister, Maddie Asghari, supports the relationship, as she captioned the post with two red heart emoticons.

However, not everyone was happy to see him move on. "He only used Britney to get her money so sad for this guy but don't forget karma exists," one user wrote.

“I'm not even sure if he asked for money. He wanted publicity," replied another netizen.

"Audience over money...right," agreed a third user.

"It's sad you never liked Britney… you just wanted to be famous for her," said another follower. This comment got a whopping 833 likes to show they agree.

While not everyone was a fan of "The Traitors" reality star's new relationship, there were several positive comments included in his post, including one who said only "Mama Asghari" should approve of his new relationship.

While the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer may not be in a relationship right now, she didn't spend the holidays alone after her son Jaden came to live with her. In fact, she said it was the "best" Christmas of her life after spending time with her sons over the holidays.

At Christmas, she shared a video of herself standing in front of a fireplace with Jayden, who looks visibly emotional. At one point, she leans over and smiles at his face. "The best Christmas of my life !!! I haven't seen my boys in 2 years !!! Tears of joy and literally in shock everyday ku koo crazy so in love and blessed !!! I'm speechless thank you Jesus !! !" she wrote in the caption.

Unlike her ex-husband, Britney disabled comments on her Instagram posts to prevent negative comments.

As The Blast It was previously reported that Jayden came to live with Britney in California to look for schools to study music after moving to Hawaii with Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline last year. Just two days ago, the "Crossroads" actress took to Instagram to sing Jaden's praises and noted how he appears to be much older than when they last spent time together.

"Mine forever !!! We're weird like twins but he's a boy and I'm a girl !!! He's mine I haven't seen him in 2 and a half years or maybe 3 !!! I'm in shock He's back and he feels older and smarter than me ! !!" she wrote in the caption. "He is a man and I cry every day of my life because of the miracle and genius that he is!!!
