"Jolie pursued and then conducted the purported sale in secret, intentionally keeping Pitt in the dark and knowingly violating Pitt's contractual rights," the document states.

According to Daily Maila source close to the case said the exes are ready to settle their dispute at Chateau Miraval by taking the case to a jury trial or mediation.

However, Jolie might be willing to end the case as soon as possible. The insider said that she was "trying hard to be light after a dark time" and "doesn't speak ill of him in public or in private."

"Kids have grown up seeing that some people have so much power and privilege that their voice doesn't matter. Their pain doesn't count," the source added. "They've wanted her to speak for herself, to defend herself over the years, but she's reminding them to focus on changing the law instead of telling public stories."
