The speculation gained momentum after TikToker Sloan Hooks claimed to have received a tip suggesting that "things don't seem to be going well" for the couple.

Hooks pointed to recent Instagram stories shared by both Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber, implying that the posts appeared to contain subtle digs directed at each other.

In response to the swirling rumors, Hailey Bieber addressed the speculation by sharing a TikTok from the user eyegotthyme on her Instagram stories on December 30.

"To all of you on the internet," Hailey shared alongside a video in which the creator says, "You're not okay and that's okay. You've made a lot of choices. The choices you've made have put you in situations you hate. You don't want to be in those situations every day you wake up, 'Fuck, this is the reality I made.'

Sloan pointed out the couple's recent Instagram stories, suggesting that they might be subtly picking on each other. He addressed Justin's post with Jacquees' song "BED," which focuses on desire rather than love in a relationship.

Soon after, Hailey reportedly responded with her own "20 Minutes Later" post, using SZA's song "30 for 30," with the harsh lyrics, "But if it's screw me, then screw you."

The TikToker went on to analyze their posts, pointing out another re-shared video of the "One Less Lonely Girl" singer, which included the caption: "Carenting is failing, like tf."

"Co-parenting fails?" Sloan asked. "So are they currently co-parenting? Why is he posting this?"

The TikToker later reacted to Hailey's Instagram stories, sharing his thoughts just hours after she posted the message.

"I'm not making any assumptions about this couple," Sloan said in another TikTok video. "I'm just taking what's happening on social media and reposting it. You guys are connecting the dots."
