Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr He announced his engagement from Olivia Carter A few days after the start of his first career.
Pennix Jr., 24, shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the proposal set-up via Instagram Sunday, December 30. In the video, Penix Jr. is seen surprising Carter with a bouquet of roses before getting down on one knee.
The words "Marry Me" were written in huge red block letters next to a collection of red roses and candles. "I will love you forever 🤞🏾 I can't wait to spend my life with you ❤️💍," she captioned the post.

Carter attended the University of Nevada, where she played on the women's soccer team. Penix Jr., for his part, started out playing for the Indiana Hoosiers before joining the Washington Huskies. He was drafted to the Falcons in April and made his first start on December 22.
Carter has previously professed her love for Pennix Jr., even while celebrating his birthday in May.

Carter's sweet post included a video compilation of various moments in their relationship. He went on to praise Penix Jr. in the caption.
