Fedotovsky, 40, explained on the Monday, Dec. 23, episode of Caitlin Bristowof "Off the Vine" The podcast that he was "extremely sick" while hosting a travel show called First Look and eating different foods. “I tell him how I feel, he's like, 'You should try being a pescatarian. I've been a pester for years. I feel very good.' Which means, like, eating only fish and stuff. I was like, 'OK,'" Fedotowski said. "And so we have this dinner, and then, like, 10 days later, he dies."

"After that, I thought, 'Oh, I'm going to be Pesteria for two weeks,' like that dinner we had," Fedotowski said. "And when that happened, every time I went to bite the meat, or think about it, I couldn't, because I thought about gear."

Fedotovsky continued, "I haven't eaten a single piece of meat since that dinner I had with him, like 14 years, 13 years ago, and I've been a vegetarian ever since."

"My husband, he was a total meat eater when I met him, and then we watched some documentaries and at that point he went straight to vegetarian," she said. "Now, he doesn't, because we live in the south and it's hard to find stuff."

While recalling his friendship with Allemand, Fedotowski explained that the two reconnected after the show.

"Actually we are a little ahead bachelorBut then came back together after something that even says more about the kind of person he is," Fedotowski said, calling Allemand "very nice."
