The Houston-born superstar delivered a rousing set of songs from her latest album, "Cowboy Carter," a country-infused genre-blending project that has dominated the Billboard 200 for two straight weeks. The setlist featured standout tracks such as “16 Carriages”, “Texas Hold 'Em”, “Levii's Jeans” and a reimagined version of “Jolene”.

Beyoncé's performance wasn't just about her powerful vocals and recognizable stage presence; he's also assembled a talented lineup of collaborators, including Shaboozey, Post Malone, Tanner Adele and Brittney Spencer.

Adding to the magic of the show, Beyoncé's 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Cartershe made a special appearance as a dancer, marking another memorable moment after previously performing with her mother during the Renaissance World Tour.

Just moments later Beyoncé's halftime show ended, social media flooded with opinions, with many condemning the "Texas Hold 'Em" performer.

“Ummm... flags tucked into belt loops, upside down, touching the ground,” claimed one user X. “Terrible covers of amazing songs, few cues. Far from a great performance.”

Another person said: “No, really, it wasn't Christmas at all and I thought it would never end. What was that?”

“Terrible... Really a slap in the face to country music. Not good in my opinion,” said a third.

The show ended with the "Single Ladies" hitmaker being dramatically hoisted on scaffolding above the pitch, making a gun-finger gesture as the "Bang" banner unfurled behind her, according to Express on Thursday.

In response to the ongoing debate over such displays, NFL executive Troy Vincent reinforced the league's strict stance on the gestures during a meeting in October, outlining their on-field ban. At the time he said: “There is no place for that in professional football. Think about where we are as a society. … I don't think we're where we are and what we're trying to represent.”

After seeing the gesture, fans took to social media to ask, "Where's the Beyoncé gun flag?!?" and "Will the @NFL fine @Beyonce for guns?"

On Friday, December 27, Tina Knowles addressed the criticism surrounding Beyoncé's stunning halftime performance during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game at NRG Stadium. 12 minute set, now streaming on Netflixcaused a backlash, prompting the proud mother to take to social media to defend her daughter's art.

Knowles began her response by sharing a fan message on Instagram, which directly addressed and criticized those who had negative remarks about Beyoncé's performance.

"Whether you like Beyoncé's music or not, this is PROOF and motivation that no matter how undoubtedly talented you are, people will always, ALWAYS, always have something negative to say," the comment reads.

Tina Knowles replied: “Exactly my feelings! It's mind-boggling to me that you would take your precious Christmas day to watch a performance by someone you hate, who you think has no talent, so you can talk about it later."

The pop star's mum added: "You're obviously so obsessed with them, addicted to them and secretly in awe of them, you wish you could be them, you can't help but look and criticize and comment and say stupid things that make you look like jokes!! So go to another channel at halftime watch silly cartoons or clown God or something you can relate to and see yourself. Said with love.”

Knowles also praised her daughter's resilience, saying, “I've learned so much from her warrior spirit, that when they come down I do more 'No weapon formed against me shall prosper' one, two, three waiting for the fake bots to come. '”
