Kelly Osbourne is opening up about her health struggles, sharing updates with fans as she battles a persistent 100.2 degree fever. TV personality and daughter of a rock legend Ozzy Osbourne took to social media to provide insight into her current condition.

The update comes as Kelly Osbourne continues to balance her busy schedule, including her role as a mother to her son Sidney, who she shares with Slipknot's Sid Wilson.

The former reality star shared on her Instagram stories on Saturday that she is not feeling well right now and is battling a 100.2 degree fever. “He's still going strong. I put ice on my body, took medicine, tried to sweat in the tub and nothing works!” she shared alongside a photo of her thermometer.

Osbourne gave further details in a follow-up video on her Instagram Stories, saying: "I have a fever and a bit of a cough for the third day." She then expressed her frustration at the slow recovery:

“Babies come back so quickly, but I don't seem to. I don't want to be sick anymore.”

The Emmy Award winner revealed that after taking her son to the doctor, they were both diagnosed with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), explaining the lingering symptoms they experienced.

RSV is a common virus that infects the lungs and respiratory tract. In fact, most children encounter the virus by the time they are 2 years old. However, RSV is not limited to children – it can also infect adults Mayo Clinic. For healthy adults and older children, RSV usually presents with mild symptoms similar to those of the common cold, and simple self-care measures are usually enough to relieve any discomfort.

However, RSV can lead to severe infections in certain vulnerable groups, including infants younger than 12 months (especially premature), older adults, people with heart or lung disease, and those with weakened immune systems (immunocompromised).

Osbourne also revealed that Sidney is battling a double ear infection along with RSV.

"He's such a trooper, and he's doing so well," the reality TV alum said, praising her son's resilience despite the difficult circumstances.

Kelly has previously spoken about the health struggles she and her son went through together. In 2023, she revealed that not only was she battling the flu, but Sidney, who was 8 months old at the time, was dealing with the same illness.

Before welcoming her son, the television personality shared s People Magazine that she felt "terrified but absolutely excited" about entering the journey of motherhood. "I don't want to be a perfect mom, but I want to be the best mom I can be, so I overdo absolutely everything," she said of welcoming her baby into the world.
