The Los Angeles Dodgers player is fresh off his World Series win Shohei Ohtani ready to become A Grand Slam-worthy father.
Ohtani, 30, and his wife, Mamiko Tanakarevealed on Saturday, December 28 that they are expecting their first child.
"Can't wait for little Rocky to join our family soon," Ohtani wrote InstagramSharing a sonogram photo alongside a pink onesie and miniature sneakers.

“Congratulations, Shohei, Mamiko and Decoy! We're getting a ShoBABY,” read an Instagram comment from ESPN Los Angeles.

He added in Japanese, “We are still young and (there are) many things we don't know yet, but we hope you will keep an eye on us sincerely. We hope that the two of us (and a dog) will work together to support each other and move forward alongside our fans."
Ohtani, a baseball pitcher, played five seasons in his native Japan before joining the Los Angeles Angels in 2017. About six years later, he signed a 10-year contract with the Dodgers.
