Mariah Carey shared her thoughts on her twins - 13-year-old Moroccan and Monroe - following in her footsteps and pursuing careers in entertainment.

Mariah Carey's twins performed with her during her Christmas shows, and the "All I Want for Christmas" singer opened up about her feelings for her daughter Monroe and her Moroccan son entering showbiz.

Mariah Carey reveals her feelings about the twins' performance
According toPEOPLEMariah Carey is "happy" that her children love to perform. The 55-year-old singer told the agency that her twins should pursue entertainment if they want to.
"I think they're both very talented and smart, and if they want to make a living as entertainers, then I think they should," she said. "It's a tough life, but they seem to really enjoy performing, so I'm happy for them."
The twins appeared with their famous mom as 10-year-olds in her music video for "Fall in Love at Christmas," and appeared on stage with her a year later as she performed in the Macy's Day Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The twins give their mom flowers during the NC Christmas show
During a Christmas performance in Raleigh, North Carolina on December 9, Carey received a large bouquet of roses from the twins after "All I Want for Christmas" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Monroe and Moroccan appeared with flowers after the man took the stage and said: "I don't want to interrupt you, but I just want to tell you that we're going to give her flowers tonight because we just found out 'All I Want for Christmas' is the number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Make some noise for the Queen of Christmas."
Carey shared a video the next day with the caption, "Last night on stage in Raleigh, North Carolina, I found out that 'All I Want for Christmas Is You'" is back at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"I couldn't have dreamed of a better time or place to celebrate the news than on stage with my amazing fans, my kids and my family on the #Christmastime tour," she added. "I love you and I am so grateful to all of you."

Mariah Carey shares pictures with Santa Claus
On Christmas Day, Carey shared a photo on Instagram of herself posing with the twins and Santa with the caption, "Merry Christmas!!!"
The "Emotions" singer wore a strapless velvet red dress paired with a white flared jacket. The twins opted for more casual clothes and sports t-shirts, sweatshirts and pajamas. Santa was dressed as usual as the foursome posed in front of the Christmas tree and fireplace.
The post also included a shot of Carey posing solo in front of a Christmas tree, as well as a shot of her and Santa posing in front of a sleigh.

Mariah Carey launches Netflix NFL Christmas Games
On Dec. 25, Carey kicked off NFL Christmas Game Day for Netflix.
The "It's a Wrap" singer performed pre-recorded renditions of "All I Want for Christmas" that were shown before the Baltimore Ravens played the Houston Texans. Carey also started the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Netflix praised Carey while announcing the live stream.
"The holidays are synonymous with twinkling lights, happy news and the arrival of a pop superstar who rings in the season on a high note — and the first few bars of a certain must-have Christmas tune," Netflix said in a statement. "It's only fitting now that Mariah Carey opens the show on the first-ever NFL Christmas Game Day Live on Netflix on December 25."
The singer was spotted in Aspen holding hands with Mystery Man
According to TMJCarey was seen holding hands with an unknown man while walking in Aspen. The duo were reportedly on their way to dine at Catch Steak, a local restaurant.
Carey was dressed in a cream-colored outfit that included a long, fur coat. The "Heroja" singer also wore a cream mini dress paired with matching knee-high boots.
It is unclear if the man holding her hand is a romantic interest, family or just a friend.
