Patrick Mahomes just shared some exciting news about his growing family.

Already proud parents of three-year-old Sterling Sky and two-year-old Bronze, the couple is eagerly awaiting the arrival of their third child.

Before the highly anticipated Christmas Day game, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes sat down with reporter Kay Adams for an interview, in which Mahomes opened up about his personal life, sharing his excitement about welcoming his second child with his wife, Brittany Mahomes.

Netflix shared a clip of the interview on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, where Patrick revealed that his wife is due to give birth "any day now."

"Brittany says I put too much stress on her this season," he added. "So I have to try not to stress her out so much during these soccer games."

After the Chiefs' win, Patrick participated in an on-camera interview where he joked that Brittany could go ahead and give birth now that he had promised victory. "I told my wife — my pregnant wife — I'm going to get her No. 1 seed so we can have that baby," Patrick said. "We got the first seed."

In response to Patrick's quote, Brittany shared the heartfelt moment on her Instagram Story, posting a photo of the two with the caption, "Always keep your promises," accompanied by a smiley teary-eyed emoji and a heart emoji.

With Brittany just days away from giving birth, it's no surprise that she decided to stay home and enjoy the Christmas game from the comfort of her living room. Surrounded by her other children, she opted for a cozy game day experience, cheering on her husband and his Kansas City Chiefs teammates from the sidelines of the TV.

"I'm baking and watching my dad," she wrote via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, December 25.

In the photo, Brittany and her three-year-old daughter Sterling wore matching beige and white flannel pajamas as they baked together in the kitchen. Patrick's mother, Randi Mahomes, and his younger sister, Mia, joined the festivities, creating a warm and cozy family moment ahead of the big game.

Although Patrick wasn't home this Christmas, he gave a glimpse of what a typical holiday looks like in the Mahomes household.

"Christmas with the Mahomes is a lot of chasing after the kids," he told Adams in the Netflix segment. "Santa leaves surprises for children. To see them grow up and understand what the holidays are; Now I make those traditions. I hope to have some that I will have for the rest of my life.”

Brittany and Patrick made this Christmas one to remember, marking their last holiday as a family of four before welcoming their baby girl.

The couple shared touching vacation photos with their two children, recording a festive moment filled with love and joy.
