Grimes says she wasn't 'dumped' by Elon Musk
Grimes recently addressed speculation about her past romance with Musk. The former couple, who were together between 2018 and 2022 before splitting, share three children: sons X Æ A-Xii and Techno Mechanicus and daughter Exa Dark Sideræl.
The Canadian singer made the claims about her breakup with Musk in a war of words on X with rapper Azealia Banks, who said the billionaire "cheated" on her and "freaked out."
"Grimez girl the way you're still trying to hang on to some weird innocent shit years later after you've been dumped, cheated on, your kids kidnapped, and you're still trying to paint me as the villain and act like you're above me, "Banks tweeted in response to Grimes' comments on a photoshopped picture of them both as Glinda and Elphaba from "Wicked."

Grimes claims the billionaire has become "unrecognizable"
Grimes' comments come after the "Oblivion" singer slammed the SpaceX boss, saying he is preventing her from seeing their children and has become "unrecognizable" since he began supporting Donald Trump.
According to Daily MailGrimes revealed that she was in a year-long custody battle with Musk, and at some point within that time frame, she was unable to see one of their children for five months.
"I spent a year locked in a fight in a state with terrible mother's rights, using my Instagram posts and modeling as reasons why I shouldn't have children of my own and fighting and cutting myself off from the love of my life while he becomes unrecognizable to me, with part of his resources (or IQ/strategic experience)," Grimes wrote on X.

Elon Musk and Grimes are locked in a custody battle
The former couple were locked in a custody battle over their children after Musk sued Grimes for parental rights in Texas.
In court documents last year, Musk said he intended to enter into a written agreement with Grimes regarding custody, possession and access to their children.
Musk also said in his legal filing that the lawsuit aims to establish a "parent-child relationship" between him and the three children he shares with Grimes.
Grimes later countersued Musk, filing a "petition for establishment of parental relationship" in a California court, according to Daily Mail.
She claimed that her ex-partner denied her access to her children and prevented them from seeing their grandmother, who was terminally ill.
A Travis County clerk has since confirmed that Musk and Grimes' dispute in Texas has been settled, but did not say what the pair agreed to.

However, he noted, “I have an idea for a big futuristic art project in the Austin area that would be open to the public, but I've been too busy to get it off the ground.
"I don't subscribe to the NYT and I haven't read the article," Musk added.
