Dorit Kemsleyestranged husband, PK Kemsleyrefuses after his wife calls him a "total alcoholic" during a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The couple is currently separated — after splitting in May 2024 — and the 48-year-old reality star noted on "RHOBH" that her split from PK stemmed in part from his drinking.

Dorit and Paul "PK" Kemsley have two children — eight-year-old daughter Phoenix and son Jagger, 10.

PK appeared in the episode of Bravo "Hot Mic Podcast" which aired on December 24, and he admitted that his drinking was an aspect of the couple's breakup, but that it was only a "component" of their separation.

"My alcoholism had an element of responsibility for the breakdown of our marriage," he said. “But that was just a component, wasn't it? And the truth is, if you understand the disease, alcoholism is a symptom. It's not the cause, so the reality is you have to get to what the cause was underneath. So it's just not that simple to say he was a 'total alcoholic', that's why we're separated."

According to Page Sixhe also questioned Dorit's "misunderstanding of sobriety" and accused his estranged wife of not working the program like he did. "I'm fully recovered. 'Full' is the word to use."

PK noted during the podcast that he had been sober for almost a year and was "shocked" to hear his wife describe him as a "total alcoholic."

"I was shocked, disappointed and upset by what Dorit had to say," he said. "I mean, first of all, you know, I'm really proud and public about my sobriety. And I'm 12 months (sober) in two weeks."

"I think sobriety allows me to breathe," he added. "My public sharing of my sobriety was about recovery. It was to inspire other people... no matter how dark it gets, you can recover. You can't do it alone. You need people, it's a very emotional, difficult journey, the hardest I've ever really been through."

While Dorit has had plenty to say about her husband's alcoholism, she has had her own drunk moments, one of which was caught on camera during the filming of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

During dinner at Kyle Richards' home in 2017, a drunken Dorit became sloppy and loud after consuming too many cocktails.

Camille Grammer was introducing her new boyfriend to the cast for the first time at a dinner party when Dorit yelled across the table, "Camille! You're a stupid whore!" PK was sitting next to Dorit and quietly berated her for her outburst.

As previously reported The BlastKemsley called her co-star, Grammer, the c-word for the second time on a recent episode of "RHOBH."

During the episode titled "High Horses and Low Blows," Kemsley told Grammer that she was a "complete fool" after Grammer called Dorit out for not having any empathy when her house in Malibu burned down.

Grammer responded, "You called me a f—ing c—nt," and was quickly corrected by Kemsley, who said, "I called you a dumb c—nt, not a f—ing c—nt."

PK was arrested for DUI back in 2021 PEOPLEThe 57-year-old was arrested after blowing a 0.081 during a breathalyzer test.

Kemsley's lawyer, Alan Jackson, claimed his client had only had a glass of wine in a statement confirming the arrest.

"PK was stopped and cited on November 23rd for suspicion of DUI," Jackson said. "While out with a business colleague, PK had a glass of wine with dinner. After a traffic stop it was determined he may have been close to the legal limit. He regrets not taking another ride home that evening. PK takes these allegations extremely seriously and fully was cooperating with the authorities."
