Quarterback Mahomes, 29, also acknowledged Kelce's performance.
“We found a lot of weapons there. We're getting healthy at the right time,” Mahomes said. “Big guys lead us all, but we have guys everywhere. I'm trying to hang on as long as I can."
The Chiefs' win over the Steelers earned the Missouri team the No. 1 seed in its AFC conference.
“I thought it was a full team performance. The defense stepped up, the offense stepped up (and) everybody had their mark on the game," Mahomes quipped. "I told my pregnant wife (Brittany Mahomes) I was going to get the No. 1 seed, so we could have kids."
Patrick and Brittany, 29, currently They are expecting their third child. In a pregame interview Wednesday, Patrick told Sportscaster Kay Adams That of his wife "any day now."
