Steve Schirripa from "The Sopranos" teamed up with FreshPet for a mob-inspired ad starring the actor. Schirripa played the hapless character Bobby Baccalieri on the HBO drama.
The 67-year-old actor also played Detective Anthony Abetemark in "Blue Bloods," but his new commercial for FreshPet plays on his days as a New Jersey mobster.

Steve Schirri stars in a commercial for FreshPet
The cute ad features Steve Schirrip playing cards with several "made up" guys when one of the men returns with a package that needs to be refrigerated.
When the man asks why there's dog food in the fridge, Schirripa replies, "It's not dog food. It's FreshPet. Real meat. Real vegetables. For my boy, Junior."
"No disrespect," the man replies. "But, uh, what are we doing here?"
The room falls silent as everyone stares at the man. The next scene shows the casket closing on the man as Schirripa and Junior look on. "If anyone asks, we were at Grandma's," Schirripa tells Junior.
Schirripa said PEOPLE that FreshPet contacted him after learning he was feeding it to his dog Willieboy.

“I have a dog, Willieboy, who has been eating FreshPet for the past few years,” he said. "They sent me the script and after playing a detective for the last nine years, it was fun to get back into that old 'Sopranos' mode."
"I thought it was a really clever, really clever and really funny ad," he added.

Steve Schirripa shares old Christmas clip from 'The Sopranos'
Steve Schirripa also shared an old clip from "The Sopranos" on Instagram on Dec. 23. The clip features Paulie (played by Tony Sirico) telling Bobby that he has to play Santa Claus for the neighborhood kids. "Last Christmas" by Wham! plays in the background.
A hilarious scene shows a reluctant Bobby handing out Christmas presents to children.
"Want to play Santa at the party this year?" Paulie asks.
"No. I can't do that," Bobby replies. "Yeah, you can," Paulie replies. After Bobby says again that he can't play Santa because he's shy, Paulie replies, "The boss of this family told you you were going to be Santa. You're Santa, so shut up about it."

After Bobby called out the little boy for trying to sit on Santa's lap for the second time and getting nothing, the kid replied, "Fuck you, Santa," resulting in the adults in the room exclaiming, "Wow!"
Bobby died during the final season of 'The Sopranos' after he was shot while looking at trains in a toy store.

Willieboy joins Schirripa on 'Blue Bloods' set
Širipa also said that he loves his dog Willieboy "unconditionally" and how much he loves his two children. "I have two daughters and it's amazing that you have feelings for an animal," he said. "He's like part of my family."
The "Blue Bloods" actor played Detective Anthony Abetemark on the police drama for nine seasons before it ended earlier this month, and Schirripa shared pictures with his fans on Instagram after bringing Willieboy to the set.
The post was captioned: "Anthony Abetemarco needed some guidance today on set @bluebloods_cbs and Willieboy came to the rescue!" Willieboy was even seen watching his dad act in one adorable shot.
Schirripa jokes that his daughters are jealous of Willieboy
Schirripa and his wife Laura take Willieboy everywhere with them, even when they are on vacation. The Sopranos actor also joked that his two daughters, Bria and Ciara, are sometimes jealous of the dachshund.
"He is like my son, I take care of him," he admitted. "My daughters are sometimes jealous, I mean, ...Me and my wife are empty nesters, and Willie is the focus, and he brings us a lot of joy and a lot of laughter."
Schirripa shared several pictures of his family vacation in 2022, and Willieboy was front and center.

Širipa walked his daughter Ciara down the aisle at her 2023 wedding in New York. He also walked his daughter Bria down the aisle in 2021, it said PEOPLE.
The proud father pointed out that Ciara and her husband Zach were college sweethearts who met at the University of Delaware back in 2014.
"We all planned the wedding together. Zach has been with Ciara for seven years - they're college sweethearts - so he's already part of the family," Schirripa said. "It was just one big party, and it was very emotional, of course, because it's my youngest daughter. It's a real holiday now, me and my wife Laura."
