The stars of "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" expressed their solidarity with Blake Lively amid her ongoing lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, her "It Ends With Us" co-star and the film's director.

The lawsuit, filed with the California Department of Civil Rights, accuses Baldoni of sexual harassment, fostering a hostile work environment and attempting to damage Lively's reputation through a targeted social media campaign.

In a joint statement released on Monday, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel expressed their support for Blake Lively, highlighting the importance of creating a safe and respectful work environment in the entertainment industry.

As "friends and sisters of Blake Lively for over twenty years," the three actresses said they "stand with (Lively) in solidarity as she fights the reported campaign to destroy her reputation."

They added: "During the filming of 'It Ends with Us', we saw her muster the courage to seek a safe workplace for herself and her co-stars and we are appalled to read the evidence of the deliberate and vindictive attempt to discredit her voice that followed."

While it's hard to see Lively go through this, the three actresses said that "most disturbing is the blatant exploitation of the stories of survivors of domestic violence to silence a woman who was seeking safety."

"The hypocrisy is astounding," they added.

America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn didn't finish their statement without praising Lively for her strength.

"We are struck by the reality that even if a woman is as strong, famous and powerful as our friend Blake, she can face strong retaliation for daring to ask for a safe work environment," their statement concluded.

Their public support comes as social media continues to dissect every detail of the case, and conversations about power dynamics in Hollywood, gender equality and the role of public perception in high-profile legal battles take center stage.

In her lawsuit, the 37-year-old actress alleges that Justin Baldoni participated in sexual abuse on a movie set. As a result, a meeting was called to address her concerns, during which Baldoni and his production company reportedly agreed to meet several of her demands, which included: "No more showing Blake nude videos or pictures of women, no more mention of Baldoni's alleged previous addiction to pornography and no more discussions of sexual conquests in front of Blake and others."

Lively's complaint also alleges that Baldoni hired crisis PR expert Melissa Nathan, who previously worked with Johnny Depp during his widely publicized libel trial Amber Heard.

In August, a source revealed Daily Mail that Blake Lively has expressed fears for her career, believing that the ongoing controversy surrounding the film could damage her reputation.

Reportedly, Lively saw her role in "It Ends With Us" as "her moment to shine," but now she's worried the situation could jeopardize her future in the industry.

"Blake is definitely sad about the hate she's getting and she's trying not to let it affect her, but it is," a source said at the time. "She thought this was her moment to shine, but now she sees it as the end of her career. She's afraid no one will want to work with her after this."

They added: "She really wants to continue producing, directing and acting, but she knows she needs to take a step back for a minute to reassess the future."

Speculations about the tension between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively began to circulate on August 6, following the world premiere of the film "It Ends With Us" in New York. It's important to note that the two did not pose for photos together on the red carpet.

While Baldoni refrained from taking pictures with any of the cast members, Lively was seen posing with several of her co-stars. Observant fans also pointed out that Lively doesn't follow Baldoni on Instagram, adding fuel to the rumours.

In addition, Baldoni conducted solo interviews during the film's press tour, while the rest of the cast participated in interviews as a group.
