As previously reported The BlastBeyoncé revealed why she named her latest album "Cowboy Carter." The artist said she felt unwelcome after being booed at the Country Music Awards while performing with The Dixie Chicks.

"The cowboy is a symbol of strength and aspiration in America," she said. "Cowboy was named after the slaves who worked with the cows. The word cowboy comes from those who were called boys and never got the respect they deserved."
